The UAM is an educational institution that seeks to redefine the education system in which problems of social reality are involved. This teaching-learning system seeks to achieve a mastery of professional practices by recognizing that reality can not be apprehended from a unidisciplinary view, and attempts its analysis through multi and interdisciplinary perspectives. The University Extension Coordination, through its sections and programs, has as its central objective to offer to the internal and external community activities, spaces, opportunities and supports related to the third function of the UAM - the preservation and diffusion of culture, aligning itself to the institutional policies and seeking the link with the different instances and academic divisions of the Unit. In addition to the above, CEUx supports the strengthening of the UAM identity, the integration of students into university space and dynamics, the integral training of students, as well as the academic improvement of staff and the external community through the Education Program for Adults.

This exhibition was hosted by UAM Xochimilco since 2015, which is currently the permanent headquarters of the project.

Mission: Foster and disseminate artistic creation and collaboration, with particular emphasis on those initiatives that support innovation, interdiscipline and transversality. Its programmatic lines include different artistic manifestations, among them music, theater, dance, cinema, literature and visual arts, and contemplate the exploration and consolidation of communicating vessels between them. Likewise, Casa del Lago is a space for reflection on contemporary problems and offers training opportunities for students and professionals as well as for the general public.

Vision: A cultural center of the UNAM that is distinguished by the freshness, vigor and diversity of its program, immersed in praxis and contemporary artistic reflection, which invites diverse audiences (from the University and the one who attends the Forest of Chapultepec to the metropolitan) and is a space conducive to the convergence of individual, collective, university and institutional initiatives.

Objective: Encourage exploration and consolidation of propositional artistic manifestations, foster collaboration, interdiscipline and transversality, establish continuous communication channels with diverse audiences and offer solid and innovative training opportunities.

Museum "Ex Teresa Arte Actual" is an enclosure and cultural project of the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA), whose headquarters is located in what was the Temple of Santa Teresa La Antigua.

Ex Teresa Arte Actual has aimed to enable the exercise of current art through supports and multiple languages. Platform of intercross with the national and international artistic community that makes possible the task, study and memory of time practices.

In constant movement and attentive to its sociocultural context, it seeks to be an intermediary between the various artistic and public processes, and a link between artistic development and society.

The National Fonoteca was created to be responsible for researching, recording, preserving and disseminating the sound heritage of Mexico, derived from both the live experiences and the phonographic and radiophonic tradition.

The Center for Research in Contemporary Music is an organization dedicated to research in contemporary music, with special emphasis on composition and technology. To the CPMC are linked several laboratories, with objectives of giving technological support to the processes of creation and teaching of music.

In addition to the laboratories, the CPMC also supports various theoretical disciplines, using resources to increase the efficiency of learning and optimize the teacher's time in the classroom, as well as to help the student in the conception of instrumentation, orchestration and editing of scores .
