Due to the problem that we are currently facing in the world with Corona Virus and in agreement with the different institutions that collaborate in the International Exhibition of Electroacoustic Music MUSLAB, some of the festival's activities and concerts will be held through the web and others must be postponed until further notice.

 

 

We really appreciate the partisipation  and understanding of the artists, institutions and collaborators that make possible this festival and we hope meet us again to continue the activities of this great family.

MUSLAB 2020 Selection

 

 

 

MUSLAB thanks the composers participating in its 2020 call for the submission of their works.

 

MUSLAB is not a competition, it is an inclusive project whose main objective is the creation of opportunities for the dissemination and promotion of sound art using our public spaces for presentations. Our goal is to promote inclusion, cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence in society.

 

If your work was selected and you wish to attend the event, you must inform us to organize and inform our partner institution due to the conditions that Mexico City is experiencing at this time, the dates and places of MUSLAB activities and concerts may change your location or date without prior notification according to the possibilities of the institutions that host the festival to carry out the activities.

 

 

MUSLAB is a project for promoting the creation and diffusion of new artistic proposals, to encourage the contribution of contemporary music to culture, establishing a framework for the dissemination of such musical artistic creation.

 

We realize the festival between October and December. This year's MUSLAB edition will be realized in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, Spain and France. This project is made in collaboration with different cultural institutions and universities of these countries;

 

MUSLAB has had the pleasure of receiving 260 compositions of composers from 46 countries around the world this 2107, and we would like to scheduled more than 150 artists in 26 different activities that we invite you to se in our webpage muslab.org

 

Concert programs and general programs are in construction and we work to finish please be patient .

By participating with their work in MUSLAB, the composer gives his consent, rights and permission for the diffusion of his work through this exhibition, and exempts MUSLAB of any responsibility towards any association or copyright payment, and grants permission to publish his work in the activities, concerts and radio broadcasts of the Muestra internacional de Música Electroacústica MUSLAB. The composer retains the copyright.

We would like to remind you that all works recorded with a specific record company must have a letter in with the appropriate permission to be included in the concerts and radio transitions, composers assume the responsibility of having this permissions to send their works to the International Festival of Electroacoustic Music MUSLAB.
