MUSLAB 2015 had as venues: Mexico: Centro Universitario de las artes (CUDA) - Ciudad Juárez, Fonoteca Nacional, Radio UNAM, UAM-Xochimilco, IMER, Centro Cultural Tudor, Centro Cultural de España, France: Conservatorio de Música de Reims, Argentina: Fundación Beethoven, Centro Cultural Recolecta, Scala de San Telmo, Brazil: Instituto Cervantes de Rio de Janeiro, Estudio FitaCrepe Sao Paulo, Nos Trilhos and different associations and art collectives.
The 2015 edition of this festival has had the pleasure to program 150 artists in 20 concerts that took place in different cities in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and France, we hold five formations, 6 talks and panel discussion and 7 artistic residencies. We had the pleasure of receiving more than 250 compositions from 36 countries, among them France, Italy, Germany, USA, Japan, Korea, China, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Greece, Finland, Canada among others, this material is now part of the acquis of the Fonoteca Nacional de México.
Video MUSLAB 2015 & Activities
We will promote a recovery action for spaces for peaceful coexistence through art and the contribution of contemporary music, establishing a structure promotion and dissemination of artistic creation sound of this genre. Through the International Festival of Electroacoustic Music MUSLAB, we offer educational opportunities specializing in new open to music students from the region technologies. Its realization will have as its starting point the Mexico City headquarters to replicate in different universities and artistic training in other cities of the country.
