Selected composers have the option of having their work selected for the annual MUSLAB phonogram, which is produced in co-production and participates in concerts and radio programs related to the exhibition. 2) Call for Individual Sound Recordings: MUSLAB's call for submissions is open year-round to composers worldwide, regardless of age, who wish to propose their work for a 78-minute sound recording in co-production with MUSLAB and CERO RECORDS.

The Vision of the Future.

Co-produced Sound Recording Projects:
AFTER is conceived as a space for reflection and production that extends the life of the works beyond the performative moment, proposing a critical perspective on the persistence, transformation, and reinterpretation of sound and visual materials over time. The exhibition brings together projects that engage with memory, traces, residues, post-production, and the reconfiguration of artistic experience in contemporary environments. The sound recording production associated with AFTER aims to document, preserve, and disseminate these artistic practices, creating a sound and audiovisual archive that allows for international circulation and access by new audiences. Through physical and digital formats (CD and DVD), the project seeks to bring contemporary sound creation closer to different cultural, academic and artistic contexts, fostering exchange between artistsArtists, researchers, and creative communities from various countries. MUSLAB – AFTER promotes the creative process as its central focus, valuing both the final work and the methodologies, technologies, and reflections that underpin it. The phonographic co-production serves as a platform for contemporary artistic communication, offering artists new opportunities for representation, dissemination, and dialogue, as well as the possibility of integrating their work into an international circuit of exhibitions, concerts, publications, and educational activities. Through this initiative, MUSLAB reaffirms its commitment to developing international collaborative networks, providing access to experimental sound creation, training in new technologies, and expanding the languages ​​of sound art, contributing to the construction of a living, diverse, and constantly evolving contemporary sound heritage. MUSLAB – Complex Planet – Vol. 1, 2, 3, 4 presents various audiovisual and photographic works created by artists from around the world. These works analyze our diverse cultural identities through the lens of endemic social processes and globalization. A social study exploring cultural identity.from the perspective of contemporary art. The proposal is based on the idea that a fundamental characteristic that enables evolution in nature is diversity, since diversity allows for genetic exchange and mutation, and therefore, adaptation to a changing environment. This phenomenon is reflected in biological, social, and cultural contexts. Thus, diversity guarantees evolution and adaptability, hence the importance of cultural identity and endemic aspects compared to global ones.
